Made in Turkey, the Tisas 1911A1 U.S. Army model is a historically correct reproduction of the original U.S. Military service pistol in 9mm. From it's Parkerized finish and hammer-forged barrel to its original weight and feel this pistol accurately replicates the original Military issue Government model pistol at a fraction of the price. The pistol features all-steel construction on the frame and slide with a 5" hammer-forged barrel. It also features a cock and lock and grip safety, just like the original. Comes complete with 1-7 round Mec-Gar mag, cleaning brush, and manual in factory box. Note - Accepts all standard 1911 9mm mags and accessories.
What a beautiful pistol. The 1911A1 U.S. Army 9mm will be the perfect fit for shooters and history buffs alike. Tisas produced this excellent handgun in Turkey to exactly replicate the original Auto-Ordnance 1911 A1 U.S. military sidearm in every way. It has the same size, dimensions, weight, and feel of the original pistol. Also, unlike some cheap knock-offs, the frame and slide are all-steel construction. It incorporates a hammer-forged barrel, a beautiful historically correct Parkerized finish, and checkered plastic grips. The pistol also features both a cock and lock safety and grip safety in keeping with the 1911A1 tradition. Many purists will tell you that when it comes to handguns, nothing quite captures the shooting experience of firing a true 1911A1. We have evaluated this pistol extensively, and the fit, finish function, and performance are all of very high quality. It is a tremendous amount of gun at a very affordable price. Bottom Line - The Tisas 1911A1 Army Full Size Gov't Model 9mm is a winner. Tisas has been manufacturing award-winning firearms in Turkey since 1993, and their pistols are in use by civilians, law enforcement agencies, and military units worldwide.
